Cloth Flowers made by myself

These cloth flowers are made by myself and my grandma, Yuling.

I also cultivate some plants in my grandparents’ home because I really want to make it a botanical garden, where plants could bring vigour to where I live. Thanks to my grandma, I also started to learn knitting and make the models of flowers with her. On the trip of plants, I was always inspired, supported and encouraged to continue my journey. You could also see my the plants grown by myself and journal written to record the plants’ growing process.

PLANT TOUR
| From my childhood to my senior high, it is great that I have travelled to around 50 cities in more than 11 countries or areas. When I went to different places, I would took the pictures of local plants. Gradually, I discovered the plants in different regions have their distinct characteristics including habitats, function, color…This was the starting point of my investigation on plants.  I was amazed at that how these little creatures could evolve into different mechanisms to adapt to their environment, telling the world their dogged life force and magnificent diversity. I want to share and propagate these exhilarating moments to people in the community.
