How has botany originated

Do you think that botany is just a contemporary thing? Then you are wrong！ Actually the botany can be recalled back to the Paleolithic age. Human beings collected seeds, stems, roots and fruits as their food resources, manufacture, house living, medicine and even the witchcraft.
At the end of the 17th century, British biologist ray established the basic principles of modern plant classification. In the 17th century, various microscopes appeared, which initiated the study of plant anatomy, and then plant physiology and plant embryology were further developed.
